We've talked about it but haven't named it yet.

A question to add to this thread could be what is the sex of your PU?   Male Evil or Female Kisses?

We have not named ours either.  This post got me to thinkin' I should let my grandson name the PUP since he has only missed one trip  in the PUP.  He loves to camp so who knows.

Sex??? yes its one or the other Big Smile

The name of our PopUp is "Grand Tour Elite Niagara"!

Seriously though, my DW calls it the "Waste of Money".  My kids call it "The Camper". Cool

Ours is named Bentley.  I have a Bentley logo sticker on the side.  So now when people as what we are going to do on the weekend, we can honestly say we are taking the Bentley out for the weekend.

We call ours "Happi"  for Happi Kamper (also our "handle").  It's a "she".  All our vehicles were "she"'s also, until we got the GMC...Jimmy - can't give it a girls name if it already has "Jimmy" on it.

Hey, that is the same thing we call ours!  We tried to pick a name, but after all these years it is still just The Camper.  I guess it is male, since everything else in our home except DH is female...

Give my wife a year and I'm sure we'll have one.  Her maiden voyage will be in March unless I can get her ready in a couple of weeks and NM's weather holds.

I named the cat but even as the cat's name lengthens to 7 and counting, the only one that sticks for day-to-day is the wife's contribution.  So, give her a bit of time and a name will emerge from her lips.  I might even paint it on her side (the camper's side, not the wife's).

Stay tuned.

My brothers Coleman Utah was relettered Arizona. Since sold he bought a Casita and installed custom graphics and named Monsoon. Ours is Sunflower, a yellow Quicksilver. First place I camped in Arizona was near Sunflower, the Mrs. is from Kansas and she likes Sunflowers.

For the longest time, ours was... "The trailer". It worked.

However, I think I've renamed it "Hotel Coleman".

2 Ps in a Pup

« Reply #44 on: March 14, 2010, 07:17:06 pm »

I have been thinking that people name their boats, cars and other belongings. Maybe I should name my pup.
Does yours have a name?

Nothing like chiming in two months late...  We have two pups.  They both have names as do our TV's, pretty much we name everything that holds still or hangs around long enough.  Our first pup is named Serenity, for two reasons, 1) It became our special getaway vehicle if you will fro our 24/7 business life.  2) I liked the movie with the same name Grin and the television series that proceeded it.

Our second is named Newtus.  We purchased both of our pups used, the second one was a 2007 Niagara and we purchased t in 2008.  I was very excited about getting the Niagara and told... well everyone who'd listen that we were getting a new pup and then I'd correct myself and say, well it's new to us.  My DW, Phyllis thought this was hysterical and dubbed it Newtus as a joke on me.  Big Smile
