Campfire steak, potatoes and green beans.

« on: July 28, 2010, 05:11:53 am »

I use my CrackBerry a lot.  I can access PUX into log on and first level.  Once I click a topic that's all she wrote.  FWIW, I'm with US Cellular and use BlackBerry Pearl 8230f running v4.6.1.208.

Is this just me? The site? I can access other sites without problem.

No problems with my HTC EVO (Android) on Sprint, and I didn't have problems with my Kyocera XT-C on Virgin Mobile (other than my patience being tested).  Maybe someone with techie knowledge will weigh in on why it stops on you.

Template Parse Error!

It seems something has gone sour on the forum with the template system.  This problem should only be temporary, so please come back later and try again.  If you continue to see this message, please contact the administrator.  You can also try refreshing this page.

Well Administrator!!!!  I get that message even trying to access a private message.

Thanks for looking into this.

works fine on my iphone through AT&T on the Safari browser...  I did a quick search and didn't see any big issues with SMF and the blackberry devices though either... so it could be unique to this forum.

Do you (administrator) have the Tapatalk plugin installed on the HybridExplorer forum?  If so, there's a Blackberry client that you (Steve A) might like for forum access but it'll cost you one time $3 and work for any forums that have the free plugin installed.

I view the forum on both android (g1) and ios4 (iTouch).  I think the forum works better on android.  I wouldn't mind Tapatalk support.  I've used that on other boards and I like it.

+1 for the 'template parse error' on my CrackBerry 9700 using the BlackBerry browser.

The Opera Mini browser works just fine, although its (obviously) formatted for a desktop as opposed to mobile screen.

I have the same problem on my BB.  Let me nudge Dean and see if he has had a chance to look into this.  Hey, maybe now that the summer edition of PopUp Times has gone to press he's looking for something to do.  Wink

Same problem with my BB. I tried and tried while at the Mid-Con ...thought maybe the site was down. Then Mgwerks pops up with his EVO and says " I got it no problem!!!"

It definitely sounds like a personal issue with BlackBerry!  I'm saying this is BLATANT DISCRIMINATION based on profiling!

I can go to several different forums without issue.  This is the first time I've come across this.
