Well I decided to finally go for it after considering it for 5 months.  I found a FANTASTIC price on the Big Gas Grill 3 combo at Sportchalet.com.  I guess it's a chain sporting goods store, but I've never heard of it.  The cheapest I've ever seen it is $249, but I got it for $219 with free shipping!  I had to do it just because of the price even though I've been very satisfied with the performance of the Q100.  It was just too small though.  Since the DW is a vegetarian and veggies take up so much space I needed something bigger.  But rather than go up to the Q200 I figured I'd carry one appliance that I can cook and grill on.  (Even though the grill and stove are two separate units, I know)  And the only bad thing I read about is the weight of the unit, but I usually need a little extra tongue weight anyway so it's a win-win.

I should get it Friday, can't wait to feel the heat of 90k btu's.

I just checked Sportchalet's site and it looks like they took the BGG off.  Maybe I bought the last one?Huh?

You'll love the stove! great choice. Go slow with those btu's until you get used to them. I know a couple people have melted plastic handles off pans leaving on high and walking off.

GREAT Price!!!  I'd be interested to know how you like it after using it a bit.  I just bought a Camp Chef Weekender couple weeks ago and used it on a trip, and didn't use it as much as I had hoped.   But I love it just the same, and YES - watch those BTU's because I didn't get my stove off low while making breakfast, and many times, low was too HIGH!!!   But it will boil a pot of sweet corn in short order!!!  Smile

Enjoy!!

I have seen that stove, (with the large three burner sized griddle), make enough pancakes, and eggs - simultaneously, for a small army!  In the hands of someone that know griddles, that stove can produce miracles!

Ok, I'm exaggerating a little....  But it is a very nice, and very heavy, combo!

Nice buy. Don't own one (yet), but they have a good reputation for a lot of heat and solid construction.

We have the Camp Chef Pro 60, it is a two burner model and we love it.  We also use a griddle and BBQ box. All of it is very heavy but works great.

You got a Good deal with shipping!

The stores around here have the unit on sell for $199 with 3 burner and the BBQ box that covers 2 burners.

We have had ours 2 years and love it.  Get the canvas bags for hauling around to keep the grease off from everything.  The new units have the igniter built in that I wish we had.

Great for Canning also!
